Dollop South Loop! Monday June 9th! Heres the idea: Dan Weiss, owner of Dollop Coffee Company is teaming up with Tony and Jeff Dreyfuss of Metropolis Coffee Company on a new coffee and food bar in Chicago’s landmark Fisher building in the South Loop. The two local favorites have always worked together - Dollop exclusively serves Metropolis coffee in each of its four chicagoland locations. This “Dollop powered by Metropolis” project will also feature a food menu created by Hoosier Mama owner and Chef Paula Haney. Expect baked goods and breakfast sandwiches in the AM, and deli sandwiches with sweet and savory pies all day at this hybrid coffee and food bar. Customers can get in and out with fast coffee to go, or stay awhile and enjoy a pour over. Paul Leisen, designer of Dollop in Streeterville and the Dollop/Hoosier Mama Pie Co project in Evanston is working with Weiss to design and build the location. The new cafe will be located in Chicagos historic Fisher Building..343 S Dearborn at the corner of Plymouth and Van Buren.
