Dolphin Park drowning Incident By Floris Steenkamp Dolphin Park will not be open for business on Saturday, as a mark of respect for the five year old boy who drowned in the resorts swimming pool yesterday afternoon. Meanwhile, Walvis Bay municipal spokesperson Kevin Adams earlier today confirmed the drowning of a five year old Australian boy in a swimming pool of the Dolphin Park recreational resort. The incident took place at around 16:00 yesterday and the child was pronounced dead at the Walvis Bay State Hospital shortly after 17:00. This is indeed a very tragic incident and our heartfelt sympathies go to the parents and other loved ones of the deceased, said Adams early on Saturday. He added the incident will be investigated and the municipality will have a better picture by Monday of the circumstances under which the drowning took place.
