Donate to the ALS association today at alsa.org/donate. They have a 4-star (top) rating from Charity Navigator and only 7% of funds go to administration expenses (source: 2013 ALSA budget filing). The ALSA supports research funding, education, awareness, and patient services. Think the Ice Bucket Challenge is just another hashtag slactivism? This month alone, the campaign has raised more than $40M, which is $10M more than last years total budget, and more than the entire combined federal annual funding for ALS in 2013!
