Dont be a tolerant Christian Be a Loving Christian Just a thought I have been thinking about Love. Now we are in a world who has a false knowledge on what love is. Some think if you love me your going to allow to do whatever I want and tolerate it. Tolerance is not love. Another word for tolerance is acceptance as Christian we are called to holiness. This means separated form sin unto Jesus. The best example of love is Jesus Christ (John 3:16, Romans 5:8). Jesus Christ did not tolerate our sin; as a matter of fact sin is what broke our relationship between us; but he found a way to atone our sin. Jesus Christ wanted to find a way to restore a relationship between him and his creation. So, he sacrificed himself so when we accept him as our savior our relationship could be restored. he doesnt tolerate sin in his word he teaches repentance which means to have a change of mind about sin. Look if you want to show the greatest act of love its not tolerating that persons sin it is giving that person the most precious message we hold the Gospel. Dont condemn someone and write them off because of a certain sin they have done love them and point them toward the Gospel. Remember it is all level at the cross we are all sinners saved by Grace. think of a loved one, family member, or a friend and if their not saved share them the Gospel.
