I ask that you vote No on Amendment 1...it protects the rates for nursing homes and large institutions that care for people with developmental disabilities and the elderly. It does nothing for programs like Jay is in NOW but if nursing homes and big institutions arent protected the money has to come from somewhere which will affect Jay and people like him as it usually does when they have to cut money.
