“Don’t get it twisted!” I told an old friend I spoke with for almost 2 hours on Sunday, who thought I lived some great life based on these posts! “Far from it! I have problems, just like everyone; sometimes they’re major problems!” I told her! One thing I can certainly guarantee in this life is that YOU WILL HAVE TROUBLE! But, the amazing news is that we don’t have to handle them alone! God is really our constant Companion and when we learn to go to Him in those 1000 daily decisions, He’ll direct us on how to resolve them one step at a time. We have to stay focused on Him though, not the problems. When I catch myself thinking of all the possible worst case scenarios, I practice catching myself my repeating, “FOCUS ON ME” as if that’s a personal commandment from God to not worry, but to trust Him. And believe me, that phrase may get repeated a lot during the course of one day, just depending on the day I’m having! “FOCUS ON ME! FOCUS ON ME! FOCUS ON ME!” ‘How I’m I going to get out of going to this?’ I privately plotted to myself that Sunday my husband wanted me to go to that trade show with him. My Sundays are very special to me and I just wanted to relax and unwind like I do every Sunday! But, again I went to God in one of those 1000 daily decisions and I felt reminded of how hard my hubby tries for us and I should go and support him. That one decision has changed the course of our lives, in that in not only helped us prevent a possible major situation, but going forward, it has changed some policies for me! All because I did the right and excellent thing, we were led us to some amazing peeps! God, I’m grateful! Are you going to Him in those 1000 daily decisions and trusting God instead of worrying to direct you? “Eventually, you will learn to relax and enjoy the adventure of our journey together. As long as you stay close to Me, My sovereign Presence protects you wherever you go.” God, I’m learning! WE GO WITH GOD!
