Dorothy Sherman and I were on vacation to Sedona, AZ for one week. It was a wonderful time, but too short! It has the most amazing rock formations, colors, and places to take awesome pictures. It sure makes me miss living in Bend where you have the wonderful wide open vista..... We took 370+ photos - mostly Dorothy! You can see a few trip pictures on her facebook page - she hasnt copied me any yet to show! We took a tour of the Hopi Indian Reservation, the Grand Canyon, Red Rock State Park, Oak Creek Crossing Park, Verde Canyon Railroad tour, Blazin M Cowboy Dinner Theater, and ATE Indian Fry Bread....... Its a good thing that the elevation is about 4000 feet and your metabolism works faster to burn all those great meals! Since we got back to Oregon City, we have spent time getting ready for the George Fox University Womens Auxiliary Bazaar. We went over to GFU today to setup. If youre in the neighborhood stop in and say hello-- I think we have enough soap and bath salts for the whole campus! My booth is in Hoover. Hours are Friday 10:00 to 4:00; Saturday 9:00 - 3:00.
