Doug Ralph: Inmates in Saskatchewan, Ontario and New Brunswick are striking over a 30% pay cut to the on average $3 they make a day working in jail. The 30% pay cut will save the system approximately 4 million dollars a year. This has sparked a number of debates about prisoner rights and what is ultimately best for them to have a full rehabilitation. The arguments being, they should get nothing as they are criminals and already get a lot of our tax dollars. Others argue that they need that money for their families, and to keep them from turning to crime once they are free and need money. What do you think should happen?
