Downtown Raleigh is hoping to attract more than 400,000 people to the area in September with a full slate of events. If you live in an apartment in Garner, NC you can once again enjoy loads of happenings in Raleigh. For the second year, the month is dubbed The M.A.I.N. Event. M.A.I.N. is an acronym, which stands for music, art, innovation and noise. The full list was announced on Friday. There will be 20 events happening next month. Not everything could fit into September, so there are a few events falling just before and after. September is the ‘main’ month of the year in terms of major annual events in Downtown Raleigh. While each of the September events is unique and has a dedicated following, there is a thread of music, art, innovation and noise connecting them.
