Dreams do come true :) Haran Kha, 59, is a farmer who lives in Sathkira, Bangladesh. Due to an extreme shortage of water, he has struggled to irrigate his farm, making it extremely difficult to produce crops. As a result, life for Haran and his family of seven has been tough – they have little food and live in poverty. Recently, Human Appeal and our partners on the ground helped Haran. We gave him access to our community based irrigation, where we provide farmers with a water supply and the agricultural tools they need to cultivate their land. Haran has already started receiving better crop production, his earnings have increased and he can now better provide for his family.
