Dressed in a golf shirt, pants and golf shoes. To complete the ensemble a golf glove on his right hand. He tees the ball and takes the long majestic swing. Standing on the green after the completed swing with both hands still griping the club he stares down the fairway to watch the landing of the ball. In every imaginable way he exudes the appearance of a professional golfer. But he is not a pro. Hes just another amateur pretending to be something he is not. His golf game and all that goes with it is a metaphor for his presidency. Looking at him from a distance he appears to be a pro and to know what he is doing, but upon closer examination he is an amateur who cannot compete and cannot win.
