Driscoll’s Mars Hill and Dunkle’s GTS alike highlight the rigidity of institutional hierarchies, the abandon with which various forms of patriarchal privilege continue to be enacted, and opaque decision making and abusive leadership practices that have long been morally problematic, spiritual debilitating, and functionally ineffective.
