Drivers are urged to use extra caution when travelling Dry Creek Road for the next few months as pipeline work in Rowan County is in full swing. Semi trucks hauling large equipment will be traveling Dry Creek Rd and may need extra room on the roadways. The Rowan County Sheriff’s Department is assisting with escort services for the trucks to ensure public safety and fewer traffic disruptions.
