Driving Tip of the Day; When driving near 18-wheelers remember that they cannot always see you. When an 18-wheeler turns on his blinker, as a courtesy, drop back and flash your lights at them. This is a commonly-known signal (in the trucking industry) that lets them know that you are allowing them to come over in front of you. They sometimes have a hard time changing lanes (especially in heavy traffic). Motorists can make this easier for them...and ultimately relieve some traffic congestion...by letting them in whenever possible. Flash your lights. Safe travels.
