Drone cam shot of the beautiful Poipu Beach area on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Once again, the point was driven home that I dont have to go very high for a nice perspective on an aerial image. I find the most striking images are, often, in between ground level shots and conventional helicopter and airplane aerial images that are usually taken at altitudes of 500 feet and over. On many aerial shots, the higher you go, the less interesting the shot becomes as you start losing connection with details on the ground like people, cars, and buildings... especially if you are shooting a wide angle lens. The closer you can get and still cover the perspective you want... the better most shots are going to be. More images at DroneCamHawaii
