Drones are a violation of a cease fire agreement that is fragile - TopicsExpress

Drones are a violation of a cease fire agreement that is fragile at best. Despite the fact that there is a humanitarian cease fire agreement in place in Gaza until later this evening, and despite the fact that there is a further humanitarian cease fire period contemplated - drones continue to cover the sky over Gaza tonight.... they are everywhere, my dear friends. This should be considered exactly what it is - a continued act of aggression on the part of the Israelis - even while Israel gives lip service to a cooling off period . While these drones fill our skies here, it is a continuing act of terror against civilians. At any moment, these drones can target individuals and civilian areas such as mosques, refuges for the displaced, those people needed to provide maintenance and order - and rescue services.. While Palestinians join together to celebrate Iftar and soon to pray, the drones continue to be an act of war in the time of cease fire. There is no peace in Gaza while these drones fill the sky, and gunboats lurk off shore prepared to strike with genocidal accuracy as they did today just before the cease fire. Their increased level of bombing and destruction just prior to the moment of the cease fire was an indication of their real intentions. We must demand that Israel ground those drones during any future cease fire period. Their presence is not conducive to a cease fire. Their presence is strictly to terrorize. Perhaps also an attempt to incite a Palestinian violation. #GazaUnderAttack
