Drop Dumplings. 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 Tablespoon baking Powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 4 Tablespoons cold unsalted butter cut into cubes, 1 cup milk. if a little dry add a little more milk ... mix and drop into bubbling hot broth. bring back up to a boil put lid on and reduce heat to a low simmer. do not rise lid for 20 minutes then Walla Yummy homemade drop dumplings . sometimes I use canned evaporated milk, or I use buttermilk and I sometimes add about a 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese to the mix.
