Dropping out is a problem that disproportionately affects those - TopicsExpress

Dropping out is a problem that disproportionately affects those who are from lower socio-economic status backgrounds and those who are hardest to reach such as the Orang Asli. For example, the dropout rates for Orang Asli remains high with 25 percent dropping out in the transition from primary to secondary school and the dropout rate for secondary school is 26 percent. In order to increase social mobility and improve the quality of life for this group of the population, this issue needs to be examined more closely.
