Drum tip #5. Have you ever put a brand new head on your drum (clear head), whacked it during a show or practice and put a big ol dent in it? Wanna get it out? Heres how. *CAUTION* Care must be used when doing this in order to prevent damage to the head. Get a bic lighter. Firmly press down on the head beside the dented area. Wave the flame from the lighter back and forth quickly over the dented area maintaining pressure on the head. The dent will start to flatten out and disappear as the head gets warm enough. **Make sure you move the lighter quickly so you dont have too much heat on the head.** Otherwise, you may heat the head too much, causing the head to melt and be useless.
