Pain in Your Pursuit There is pain in pursuit of a passion and sometime the pain is indescribable and seemingly unbearable. This is not necessarily a physical pain but inner and emotional. Pain from trying and seemingly not accomplishing. Pain from explaining and not being heard or understood. Pain of knowing with all of your being the what ,but have no clue of the how. Pain of no’s and no shows. Pain of lack of support, pain from making mistakes. The burden and pain from the fact that life, bills, sickness, break ups and mess ups don’t stop JUST BECAUSE I HAVE A DREAM. Pain from would, could, should have, what do you do? I can only tell you what I have done. Sometime in the room crying , I mean, dealing with the dust in the room that made my eyes water. I have spent some time THINKING about what has happened. All has not been bad, I have had some SUCCESS . All is not lost, some good has come. I spend time TELLING myself yes I can , I know I can, because I have. I can talk NOW about the time when I was IN and that I made it THROUGH. I remained hopeful, and even in my pain, I remained helpful. Supporting in my suffering, bandaging while I’m bleeding. Learning from my losses but continuing to DO SOMETHING. As far as my goal, I’m not there YET, but I’m STILL on the journey, I’m still IN the fight. I’m STILL writing, STILL speaking, STILL talking about the dream ,to myself, if not anyone else. AND YOU CAN TOO !!! If you are reading this, that means you STILL have a shot, you have not given up AND DON’T. Some where I read, the race is not give to the swift nor the battle to the strong but he/she that endures. YOU can make it !! YOU can do it !! Have your own PRAISE PARTY, tell yourself that you are have worth it. The dream CAN be a reality. Get what you have to get, grow where you have to grow, change what you have to change. Learn what you have to learn AND GO GET THAT DREAM ..
