During next weeks camp, we will be using EL-C to introduce our campers to robotics and engineering. EL-C is a Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot consisting of approx. 600 pieces, 3 motors, and 3 sensors. In this video, he will detect an object, identify its color, and pass it back and forth between Dawn and me. EL-C will be used for demonstration for all of our campers, but our 9 and 10 year olds will be assembling and programming a Mindstorms NXT robot...the predecessor to the EV3... as their week-long project!
