During that entertaining talk, today morning, the great Urdu - TopicsExpress

During that entertaining talk, today morning, the great Urdu writer, Intizar Hussain Sahab also quoted the great Persian poet, Sadi--Once there was such a drought in Damascus that people forgot to love. Then, Intizar Hussain Sahab added, but we havent forgotten how to love because we are discussing literature. He said this after quoting the great Iqbal. I was just marvelling at the verve, the life, the energy, the enthusiasm of this man, whos ninety years old, has seen so much all around the world and is still able to keep such a positive frame of mind. And there are so many of *us*, who are much younger, who havent seen anything that he has seen his life and still cannot have an iota of his positive attitude to life. So many of *us* that I have seen forget these simple but priceless life lessons in their petty prisms with which they view the living process.
