During the past 2 days, the crew of The MV Bob Barker, The MV Sam Simon and The MV Steve Irwin were trained on how to safely do industrial climbing. Chris Holden have been the doctor on the Sam Simon for Operation Relentless and besides being a doctor in an hospital in Hobart, he is also qualified industrial climbing teacher. He came to the ships to pass on a really important skill that the crew of all vessels will be able to utilise for ship maintenance and for things such as rescue just to name one. Thanks to Chris everyone who took part on the training will be absolutely safe assailing around the ship, rig the climbing gear in a proper way and swap ropes while hanging. We all feel very lucky to have had such a great chance to be trained on such a useful skill. Thank you Chris.
