ECG is only a retailer, but a horrendously bad one, who sells products at less than their cost and makes a series of huge losses, and treats customers like dung! for that they should be removed from the job. in other words privatizing ECG is not bad in principle, but it turns out that the owner of the business is government and they tell ECG what to do!! and hire all its managers, so they are responsible!! that means if they owner stops messing with ECGs mind, it will do better, maybe not. Let me say, privatizing ECG without dealing with the rest of the Power value chain will achieve little, BUT IT IS A GOOD START!! Point is dont do that alone, move on the finish the job of energy sector deregulation, then we will have reliable power!! Bright Simons
