ECONOMIC GLOSSARY NEEDEDTO UNDERSTAND WASHINGTON POLITICIANS’ LIES, DECEIT, MISDIRECTIONS, DISTORTIONS, AND ECONOMIC MISLEADERSHIP Political elites have ruled, throughout history. They have ruled, either with the majority’s consent, or without the majority’s consent. Either way, it is political elites that have always been in charge. It is the former manner in which they have been in charge that has caused so much confusion, about majority rule, for instance, and about conspiracy, when analysts, such as Alex Jones, and Jesse Ventura, find that the majority is not really running anything. It is not conspiracy they are looking at, it is history, without the filters. In terms of the notion of majority rule, the consensus is that, when the people vote, they are engaging in democracy, where the majority is ruling through their vote, rather than what they are really doing, which is engaging in the endorsement of elitism, cloaked in the garments of the political process. The majority has never ruled, anywhere in history, and doesn’t rule anywhere, today, and will never rule anywhere in the future, under any form of government, period. We have yet to understand, and appreciate, the genius of the Framers who understood the nature of the problem, knew that majority rule, on the one hand, licensed mob rule, and on the other, elitism licensed dictatorial rule. They chose the latter, under a republican banner, and then took out political hammers, and tried to nail the elites’ hands and toes to the Cross, er, the Constitution. Those, who see what is taking place in Washington, through conspiratorial lens, have to think of Obama, Boehner, McCain, and that fat guy in New Jersey, as being capable of thinking beyond getting out of bed in the morning, and in Christie’s case, thinking beyond the closest donut shop. We give politicians too much credit, on all fronts, with some shouting that Obama is lying, while others wait for politicians to fix the nation’s problems, and others see them as capable of plotting against the whole world. “Really?!” I mean, John Boehner? “Really?” Harry Reid? “Really, Really?” (Two of those “Reallys” in the latter case.) We have elites in Washington, elites who are not chained down by the Constitution. Most are ignorant beyond description, and when they speak, they speak in code, known as lying. But since they have to use words, following is a brief glossary which will help you understand what these buffoons are saying. 1. Quantitative Easing 1 (QE1) – Term used for the additional printing of paper currency, created by government bureaucrats to hide the fact that the federal government is counterfeiting the currency, which is the same thing crooks were notorious for doing in their basements, during the 1930s. Because the federal government can’t borrow enough money to pay its bills, and cannot afford the luxury, politically, of raising taxes to confiscatory levels (which explains why these idiots place this burden on our children, grandchildren, and anyone else who is not able to vote), to pay the federal government’s bills, the federal government resorts to the printing press. The initial printing of $787 million was called “Stimulus Money,” which so-called economist, Paul Krugman, claimed didn’t work because the “stimulus” was not large enough, and went so far as to say that the printing of additional currency should have been twice the size, of what was printed, or around $1, 574,000,000 (one billion, five hundred seventy-four million dollars), which the sane know, was a preposterous recommendation, by this total fool. [Note: You can’t create wealth by expanding the currency. Wealth can only be created by increasing production. Expanding the currency does not create wealth, it destroys wealth.] 2. Quantitative Easing 2 (QE2) – The federal government, following the advice of so-called economists like Krugman, was all too willing to accommodate their nonsense, and did so by engaging in more counterfeit printing, with even more disastrous results. 3. Quantitative Easing 3 (QE3) - The name for the federal government’s decision to just print until it got the economic results it wanted. It can be called “Quantitative Easing Infinity” (QEI), since the federal government will never get the results it wants, the monetary equivalent of “Shop until you drop,” in which the federal government’s printing presses are working overtime, printing counterfeit currency on the equivalent of toilet tissue, with the pictures of Presidents on this worthless paper. The federal government is printing $85 billion a month, with no end in sight. 4. Inflation – A term for the rising costs of products, whose prices increase as a response to too many pieces of worthless paper being printed, and dumped into the currency stream, and used, as the other paper currency is used, to purchase quality goods produced by quality companies, run by creative capitalists, in pursuit of profit. As can be seen from the above, inflation is a subtle way to tax taxpayers without their notice, what is called taxation, without legislation. Printing money excessively is a hidden way of taxing the public, without detection, since businesses, not politicians, get blamed for the higher prices caused by the government’s monetary policies. [Yep, these politicians are some sneaky rats, with apologies to the rat species.] It should be pointed out that producers are used as scapegoats for two reasons: 1) Politicians lack the political courage it would take not to sever the quid pro quo relationship between government expenditures, and the taxes needed to pay the nation’s bills, and 2) Politicians are both envious, and fearful, of businessmen, and are self-conscious over the fact that, while businessmen produce a product, politicians produce nothing, unless you count noisemaking as a product. Politicians are both jealous of, as well as hostile over, businessmen’s skills, which is why politicians seek to control their productive efforts, while promoting themselves as the ones creating jobs. Give me a break!!! [Note: No politician has ever created a job in the entire history of the planet.] The more than 170,000 pages of federal regulations on the books, added at rate of 5,000 pages a year, are not a response to corporations running amuck, but rather an indication of politicians’ paranoia over the potential influence of business leaders. 5. “Crony Capitalism” – There is no such thing as “Crony capitalism,” it is political fiction created by politicians to make it appear that it is the capitalist, rather than the politician, who is corrupt. The proper words for the forced economic alliance between politicians and businesses (forced by politicians since businesses do not have any guns) are not “Crony capitalism,” but “Corrupt politicians.” The cronies are the politicians in Washington, thugs, parasites, leeches, who become wealthy at the expense of the poor, and then blame their poverty on the greed of the businessman. [Ask me if I would like to slap everybody in Congress, and see what I say.] Ask yourself, on the other hand, “Where does the capitalist get his money?” The answer is he gets his money from the consumers who buy his product. How does he get his money from the consumers? He gets his money from the consumers by pleasing the consumers, who are his customers. Is cronyism possible under this arrangement? Nope, if the consumer is not satisfied, corporations have no coercive power to force the consumer to do business with them. Are regulations needed then? Nope, nope, followed by two “yippees.” Then, why are there so many regulations, then? Well, let’s go back and revisit the words, “Crony Capitalism.” “Crony Capitalism” is really government graft, a political payoff to politicians, by businesses because, otherwise, politicians will not leave them alone, but would harass businessmen, and make it harder for them to manage their businesses. [Note what happened to Bill Gates, and Microsoft, when he thought business was only about running an efficient company. He got baptized. Trust me on that one!] Government graft would not exist if laissez faire economic practices were allowed to exist in this country. But such is not the case, which consumers pay for in the form of higher prices, yet another form of taxation. [See Peter Schweizer’s recently released book, “Extortion,” for more information.] 6. Corporate Greed – Greed that motivates a company to continue producing a product consumers want, and are willing to pay for, in which both benefit. The corporation gets dollars, “certificates of appreciation,” from the consumers. The consumers get, for instance, a loaf of bread for which they are appreciative because it frees up their time to do something else in the pursuit of money, which enables them to make enough money doing something else that allows them not only to purchase bread, but to pay their food bills, their house, car, notes, etc. For freeing up their time, the consumers voluntarily show appreciation for the corporation’s greed, which producers express in the form of production, which, in turn, explains why no coercion is needed to get consumers to give producers their money (certificates of appreciation). [Compare that to government transactions.] All societies, where such producers are not allowed to exist, are poor societies, without exception, which gives one a true sense of corporate greed’s value to a society’s prosperity. 7. “Mixed Economy” – Another meaningless term. There is no such thing as a mixed economy. The form of the economic system in the United States is a restrained form of communism, which will be a lot less restrained once “Obamacare” becomes completely implemented. 8. Government Bailouts – Subtle federal government takeover of businesses in the United States, again out of paranoia, and deeply embedded fears of one’s inadequacy, which induces the unleashing of political anxiety. 9. Affordable Care Act – Subtle federal government takeover of the heath care system, which accounts for 16% of the American economy. 10. “Obamacare” – An attack upon the dictionary. Obama doesn’t care about anybody. This man is sick, and needs psychiatric attention. I kid you not.
