EFFECTIVE TOMORROW (WEDNESDAY JULY 30): Hi everyone, we have had SO many phone calls, emails asking us if we are closing/selling so we want to update everyone as to what is going on: As we had mentioned before, we have been struggling and we have a parking issue which was/is greatly hindering us. At one point we were considering selling. Since then, the owner of the property is tearing down the old drywall building out back ( our regulars know what this is). The owner also recognizes that this is a problem and is working with us as quickly as he can to fix the problem. We spoke with him and he understands our need for parking, in order for us to grow and make it. He is willing to fix the issues with the parking. The parking will be completely finished the 3rd week in August so that we may now schedule the larger events that are needed for a business like ours to survive and for just the parking in general for our loyal customers and our new customers that are starting to come in now that the word is out on our great food! We have had to turn down big events the past 6 months due to the parking. It is very nice to now be able to give the people that are calling in to schedule big events a date and they are already scheduling for later August and we are already scheduled with events up through December! WE STILL HAVE DATES AVAILABLE THOUGH! With all of that being said. We are also working on our hours of operation. With all of this going on it kind of threw us off. We are trying to re-vamp our hours to cater to our wine bar that we opened in December without angering our cupcake customers. As we are a small family owned business and can only work so many hours in a day without falling over (ha), we are trying to make the cupcakes AND our wine bar available to our community (and surrounding communities) and still have some time for family as well, while also working on expanding and adding a location in the Fairlawn (for the cupcakes only), as we have had a lot of demand for them from the Fairlawn area and will be training new people for that! So here is what we have come up with that we hope will please and be good for all of us. Thank you all for being such loyal customers, we GREATLY appreciate it and thank you for sticking with us through all of this and the odd hours lately. We are trying our best, that is all we can do. As we grow will be obviously train and hire more people and will more than likely readjust our hours accordingly and open earlier if needed.
