EGRC is proud and honored to be chosen by Chifan for Charities in 2013 as one of the two chosen charities to receive funding. Chifan for Charities was founded five years ago by Michael & Joanna Crain in Beijing. Each year different restaurants and table hosts put in effort through one evening dinner event to raise funds for chosen charities. Chifan for Charities event has grown and has established branches in Shanghai and Hong Kong. In November 2nd of 2013, fifty-eight restaurants in Beijing participated and raised record amount of RMB500,000 (over $86,000). This amount will be given to the two chosen charities - EGRC and Little Flower Beijing. The founder of EGRC Tien Ching and EGRCs Adviser Cindy Jensen co- hosted a table of 10 people at Grill 79 which is located on the 79th floor of the World Summit Building Beijing. The guests received very warm welcome, find wine and delicious food by the manager Max Hohenwarter and the chef Guven Uyanik. The proceeds of the table was donated to CFFC. EGRC would like to thank Michael and Joanna Crain, the CFFC team, the participating restaurants, the table hosts and all the people who attended the event, for your support and for making this event a grand success.
