EXCELLENCE AND LEADERSIP These are changing times, yet in the middle of all the changes, There is one thing that constantly determines the success. Some call it leadership. But, it is the single-minded pursuit of excellence. Excellence endures and sustains. It goes beyond motivation into the realms of inspiration. Excellence can be as strong a uniting force as solid vision. Excellence does not happen in vacuum.it needs a collective obsession. It is great starting point for any scholar but an unending journey. It is about going a little beyond what is expected from oneself. But the other driver of excellence is internal, it is discovered that excellence is not so much a battle you fight with oneself, by constantly raising the bar and stretching yourself and your team. This is the best, the most satisfying and challenging part. How does one create excellence in group.? Firstly, create an obsession with excellence. Second, build collective self-confidence. Third, understand the difference between perfection for its own sake and excellence. Fourth, realize that you can not be the best in everything you do. Fifth, create processes that enable excellence. Lastly, Excellence require humility. A good example is the best sermon they said. Think like a person of action, act like a person of thought. Its daunting to consider that when we ourselves fall short of excellence, its not that we lack talent but rather we have not put in the right kind of effort. OFU OBI...........!!!
