EXPECT MORE CRISIS IN APC - SHINKAFI IN AN INTERVIEW WITH DAVID ADUGE-ANI REPORTED IN LEADERSHIP NEWSPAPERS. — January 25, 2014 Do you envisage crisis in APC? The APC already has crisis in Kano and Sokoto and Adamawa over allocation of positions and power sharing within the party. All the high stakeholders in APC are aspiring to contest high office, let alone when convention comes. I am sure when some of them don’t get what they want, there is going to be more crisis. ACN, ANPP CHIEFTAINS, OTHERS DEFECT TO PDP IN KADUNA REPORTED IN LEADERSHIP NEWSPAPER BY ISAIAH BENJAMIN — January 24, 2014 Chieftains of the defunct parties which merged into the All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday defected to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State. In the same vein, some aggrieved PDP members who had hitherto left the party but did not join any other political party also returned to the PDP, pleading that they should be accepted as prodigal sons having discovered that they took a wrong decision by leaving the party in the first instance. Among the defectors who dumped the APC were Kennedy Musa, former Kaduna ANPP State Secretary, Samaila Gandu (Sarkin Gandu Zaria), Mordecai Ibrahim, a former ACN House of Assembly aspirant. Others are Abdullahi Awo, Ahmed Chikaji, Bilkisu Zailani,Rebecca Nuhu, Inuwa Ahmad and Charles Taylor. Hon. Huseini Dembo, a former Senatorial aspirant, was among the returnees to the party and came along with his teeming supporters. Dembo, Ibrahim and Musa who spoke on behalf of the defectors and returnees said they all decided to join and return to PDP after discovering that APC cannot rival the ruling party in the state. Hon. Dembo, a founding father of the PDP before he left the party, said, “I have wandered in the desert and found out that there is no place like home, and home is the PDP, and I’m very happy to be back at home.” “I have said it times without number that what we need in Kaduna State in particular and Nigeria in general is peace, and you cannot leave your house because your roof is leaking and go to another man’s house to help him fix his, while you have not fixed your own house. Such a person should not be taken seriously; rather he should be directed to go back and put his house in order,” he said. Ibrahim, on his part said: “The light has come and the people have seen the truth that no party is concerned with the peaceful co-existence in Kaduna but PDP, and that is why I and my tremendous supporters chose to pitch our tent with the PDP.” Addresing the defectors, Kaduna State governor Ramalan Yero said, “We in the PDP believe that the people can only enjoy the dividends of democracy if they become participants in the affairs of the government.” THIS IS A TESTIMONY OF THE CRASH IN APC AS I WROTE ABOUT ON 22ND OF JAN, 2014. Kaduna APC members of 5000 return back to PDP.... SHOUTING NO PLACE LIKE HOME... HAHAHAHA MALAM ALIYU that came back with them even added in his statement saying!!! APC has a blind vision for NIGERIA we need to be careful.... NB: I placed a write up on face book on the 22, Jan 2014 titled, ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS AND NEW APC - nAPC : WHAT IS THE HOPE FOR 2015? And I did say that, THE UNFOLDING OF THE CRASH OF THE ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS HAS STARTED referring to Shekerau G5 Governors can’t be APC State Leaders – Shekerau - The Herald. By Tobi Adeyeye on January 22, 2014 ................................................................................AND THE CRASH WILL CONTINUE. Former Governor of Kano State and a leader of the All Progressives Congress, Ibrahim Shekerau has said that the G5 governors should not be allowed to be leaders of the APC machineries in their respective states. He made the call during an interview with Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Hanu da yawa in Kaduna. APC WILL SOON CRASH FOR THEY ARE JUST COMING TOGETHER BY FORCE. THEY ARE NOT REALLY UNITED AND THEY HAVE DIFFERENT OPINIONS ABOUT THEMSELVES AND THIS WILL PAVE WAY FOR GOODLUCK JONATHAN TO WIN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN 2015. OKOROCHA SAID IN NATIONAL MIRRORONLINE.NET THAT, Obasanjo, Babangida soon to join APC. LET TAFA BALEWA, AZIKIWE, ABACHA AND YARADUA RESURRECT TO COMBINE WITH OBASANJO, BABANGIDA TO JOIN APC, APC WILL STILL LOOSE OUT IN 2015 ELECTION. THERE WILL BE CONFUSION IN APC AND SOONEST IT WILL MANIFEST. APC WILL NOT CO-OPERATE TO WIN ELECTION AT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. SEE EL RUFAI,S VIEW ABOUT BUHARI : Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Nasir El’Rufai, one of those Northerners who deserve to be serious contenders for the presidency of Nigeria, observed that Buhari remains “perpetually unelectable” as a result of his “insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus.” This is an elegant way of saying that politically, Buhari has an uncanny tendency to put his foot in his mouth. He talks before thinking of the political implications of his words. He shoots from the hip. SEE HOW EL RUFAI VIEWS TINUBU : I cannot be under Tinubu in a party, he is beneath me, I was in charge of BPE and organized how this country will get on its feet. I was minister and at the same time an integral part of the economic team of this country, where decisions about the whole country were taken; while I was doing that at federal level, Tinubu was a governor in a single state. Im a nationalist. Tinubu is a regionalist. We gave him the platform to come to national level. He cannot tell us what to do in APC, we will tell him what is obtainable------ Mallam Nasir Elrufai This is just a tip of the iceberg. Watch and see what will continue to unfold. G5 GOVERNORS CAN,T BE APC STATE LEADERS - SHEKERAU - The Herald. Shekerau stated that there was no agreement reached between the APC and the governors which was meant to allow them emerge as the party leaders in their state. He said, “I challenged our northern APC chairman Bello Masari to tell us the time, date and at what meeting it was agreed that the said state governors should be made chairmen of the party in their states. Is it at a meeting of 35 party members which was never held or was it at a meeting of party elders? “Our National Chairman, Bisi Akande, only went with a few APC governors to meet with some PDP leaders and now they are talking of an agreement. Let him (Masari) provide the copy of the said agreement to newsmen to enable the public to know the content of the agreement and where it was agreed upon.” Shekerau said none of the party leadership was able to produce such a document that granted the governors the authority.
