EZEKIEL 28: 12-16 11 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 12 “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “ You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. 14 “ You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. 15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. 16 “ By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones. 17 “ Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you. 18 “ You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities, By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you. 19 All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; You have become a horror, And shall be no more forever. Lucifer here is refer to as a created being. God didn’t create Lucifer as we know him now. It was after his fall from Heaven that he became the devil. Check out verse 13 “The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created.” This shows that Lucifer had something to do with music. Perhaps he was Heaven’s chief musician before he was kicked out. Have you ever notice how music plays a part in the plan of God. God loves to hear our worship and praises. The right kind of music can prepare us to yield to the Spirit God….. The wrong kind of music can prepare us to yield to the devil….. the Word of God says that iniquity was found in him. EZEKIEL 28:15 Thou was perfect in they ways from the day that thou was created, till iniquity was found in thee. Verses 17-18 thine heart was lifted up because of they beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness. Thou has defiled they sanctuaries b the multitude of thine iniquities. Lucifer was lifted up in pride because of his great beauty. Because of pride, he wanted to become like God and even to ascend into Heaven to over throw God’s authority. He was so bold as to make five declarations ISAIAH 14:13-14 For thou hast said in thine heart, I Will ascend into heaven I will exalt my throne above the starts of God I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north I will ascend above the heights of the clouds I will be like the most High. Yet notice God’s respond. EZEKIEL 28:16-18 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned; therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God; I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fires. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted they wisdom by reason of thy brightness; I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they made behold thee Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; (trading) therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
