Eagle Country 104 is hosting the Local TEXACO COUNTRY SHOWDOWN at the Chaffee County Fair August 2nd Eagle Country 104 Buena Vista/Salida will host a local contest for the 32nd Annual Texaco Country Showdown, America’s largest country music talent search. The show will be held on Friday Aug 2nd, 2013 at 7pm at the Chaffee County Fair in Poncha Springs. The Local winner will advance to the Colorado State Final at Copper Mountain at the End of August. If you have what it takes to be the next big Country Star then you need to enter today. Send your audition tape as soon as possible to be selected as one of our contestants to represent Eagle Country 104 at the State Final. Program Director Dean Johnson says “We Need Entries by Wed. Contestants at this year’s Texaco Country Showdown Colorado State Final represent radio stations: KBVC-FM Buena Vista/Salida, KSKE-FM Avon, KRKY-FM Denver, KATR-FM Fort Morgan, KKXK-FM Montrose, KBKZ-FM Raton, KTTE-FM Springfield, and KSPK-FM Walsenburg. This year’s Copper Country Labor Day festival tradition will begin on August 30th, and continue through September 1st at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado. Copper Country celebrates the best of the American spirit.
