Earlier I posted this to the wall of the Northern Lights Music Festival page: Had a blast folks. Much thanks to everyone who was out at Northern Lights this year. Never will you ever hear me refer to my music as EDM--I cringe when music is referred to by acronyms as I feel they derive from the province of business-speak--and I have only attended Northern Lights Music Festival for the last two years so I cant say for sure, but I have to guess Well Trained Monkey has been the closest to EDM this fest has hosted thus far, so I wanted to thank you guys for being open to that style and thank you for being open to my goofball blend of electro-Calypso in particular. I felt that the atmosphere was really conducive to exploration and experimentation, so I tried a few new things, admittedly failed on a couple, but I l really learned a great deal from this one, as I did from the last NL (oops, acronym, dammit)! The sense of community is really strong at this event and it was my privilege to play with you all.
