Earlier this morning I played the most unenjoyable round of golf in quite a long time. The conditions were absolutely horrific. We played through blustery winds and were constantly pelted by tiny, piercing droplets of cold rain. The dingy, gray skies never broke for their gloom, covering our surroundings with a ceiling of dark, ominous clouds and every shot plugged into the soggy turf. I made it through 9 long holes and as I arrived back at the clubhouse, my Dry Joys were saturated with cold water. My hands were nearly frostbitten and my nasal passages ran constantly like a dripping faucet.
