Early this morning as I was up and wondering through my house before the sun rose I saw the peaceful and beautiful work of the full moon and though how grateful I am for it. It cast such a soft glow through the windows that I wandered to our sun porch and peered into the back yard . I was delighted and breath taken by the sight before my sleepy eyes ! I truly do not have the words to describe what I was seeing and the sense of peace and calm and closeness to God that it gave me was overwhelming. It enveloped our yard and surrounding countryside with an indescribable aura. I thought of being a child and how my brother and I would lay on the top of the hay bales and look at the man in the moon and wonder just how long it would take us to fly up there....if we could. The moon has always been magical and early this morning I truly breathed in the essence of it and it felt so good. I also though of how so many beautiful things that God created for us we take for granted. We think they will always be there and we seldom give them a second thought. I am glad the sleep fairies awakened me at that early hour and nudged me from my warm bed to wander though my house and catch such a beautiful sight. I urge you to take time tonight to peer out into the night and take in the calmness of the moonlight and feel the closeness to God through it. Blessings. CJ
