Easter, and the celebrations that came before it, is simply a celebration of the renewal of life. In the era before science, and before man questioned the myth and legend of yore, people rejoiced that the Gods had granted them another year to prove their worth, to feed their families, and to survive. Now? I just like the feel of the sun on my face and the glint of chrome as I speed along, my cares, my troubles, my identity, my very existence melting into the white noise of the warm air rushing by. So to you, my religious, atheist and agnostic friends alike, I say Happy Easter weekend. Get outside and enjoy the rebirth.
