Edinson Cavani has reportedly agreed a move to Chelsea, with the fee believed to be around £50million, just below the Uruguayan striker’s Napoli buyout clause. Chelsea have been leading the way for Cavani’s signature since Manchester City baulked at Napoli’s valuation for the player, with Real Madrid also cooling their interest. Chelsea reportedly had an offer of €50m (£42.8m) plus Fernando Torres rejected, before upping their bid. Cavani would become Jose Mourinho’s second signing since returning to Stamford Bridge, after capturing the German forward Andre Schurrle last week.
