Educators & Administrators never forget their students! Names may get crossed up, but youll never forget where they sat, their handwriting, their personalities, their strengths, talents, etc. We also remember them as the innocent children they were and the bright, hopeful futures that await them. To the family of Dan Grooms, I remember a bright-eyed, hilarious ninth grader who always addressed me, his Freshman Academy Assistant Principal, as Yes, Maam! Hed greet me with such a contagious smile. To the family of Muhammad Johnson, I remember him sitting on the second row in the next to last desk in D-154. He loved to write poetry, and he loved for me to recite poetry. He would say, Miss Moore, I think you know how to freestyle! God, bless their souls. Rest easily, guys! Ill never forget you.
