Egypt Syria and Israel In the Last Days© By Rabbi Kittron ben-Kalev Have you ever given consideration to the absurd notion that there is the possibility of not only a real peace treaty between Egypt, Syria and Israel, but also an alliance between them? How about the even more absurd notion that Egypt and Syria will give up bring Islamic and call on the name of Yahveh? Impossible you say! The Muslim Brotherhood is in control of Egypt. Assad will eventually fall you say and because our clumsy, unskilled; incompetent president has waited so long, the Syrian rebels are infiltrated by Al Qaeda. Egypt and Syria for these reasons are the sworn enemies of Israel and nothing can change that. You might even say that it is more likely that these countries will go to war with Israel soon. What would you say if I told you that Scripture tells us that Israel, Egypt and Syria will be allies and that Egypt and Syria will call on the name of Yahveh. Here is what Isiah was told by Yahveh to write: Isiah 19:11 The princes of Tsoʽan are only fools; the counsel of Pharaoh’s wise ones have become senseless. How do you say to Pharaoh, “I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient sovereigns?” ( My comment here:The princes of Tsoan are the Muslim brotherhood which now run the government of Egypt.) 12 Where are they? Where are your wise men? Let them show you, and let them know what יהוה of hosts has counselled against Mitsrayim (Egypt). 13 The princes of Tsoʽan have become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived. They, the corner-stone of her tribes, have led Mitsrayim astray. (The princes of Noph are the people who advised Mubarak.) 14 יהוה has mixed a perverse spirit in her midst. And they have led Mitsrayim astray in all her work, as a drunkard strays in his vomit. 15 And there is no work for Mitsrayim, by either head or tail, palm branch or bulrush. (Egypt has had a domestic policy that has resulted in 50% illiteracy, 40% under or unemployment and due to ancient forms of agriculture only produces 50% of its food.) Isa 19:16 In that day Mitsrayim shall become like women, and tremble and fear because of the waving of the hand of יהוה of hosts, which He waves over it. 17 And the land of Yehuddah shall be a fear to Mitsrayim, everyone who mentions it fears for himself, because of the counsel of יהוה of hosts which He has counselled against it. 18 In that day five cities in the land of Mitsrayim shall speak the language of Kenaʽan and swear by יהוה of hosts, one is called the City of Destruction. (Economically, socially, agriculturally and politically, Egypt is a disaster waiting to happen.) 19 In that day an altar to יהוה shall be in the midst of the land of Mitsrayim, and a standing column to יהוה at its border. 20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness to יהוה of hosts in the land of Mitsrayim. When they cry to יהוה because of the oppressors, He sends them a Saviour and an Elohim, and shall deliver them. 21 And יהוה shall be known to Mitsrayim, and the Mitsrites shall know יהוה in that day, and make slaughtering and meal offering, and shall make a vow to יהוה and pay it. 22 And יהוה shall smite Mitsrayim, smite it and heal it. And they shall turn to יהוה, and He shall hear them and heal them. 23 In that day there shall be a highway from Mitsrayim to Ashshur, and Ashshur shall come into Mitsrayim and Mitsrayim into Ashshur, and Mitsrayim shall serve with Ashshur. (The same things mentioned about Egypt above, also apply to Syria which is part of old Ashur.) 24 In that day Yisra’ĕl shall be one of three with Mitsrayim and Ashshur, even a blessing in the midst of the earth, 25 whom יהוה of hosts shall bless, saying, “Blessed is Mitsrayim My people, and Ashshur the work of My hands, and Yisra’ĕl My inheritance.” How will all of this happen? Perhaps there may be a war between Egypt, Syria, and Israel. The fact is that Egypt does not have the resources required to win a war with Israel. The same is true of Syria. Neither country has the oil to prosecute a war that would involve the large scale movement of tanks and aircraft. A war may be started and Israel will quickly overwhelm and terrorize Egypt and Syria. What will happen next will amaze the world. Russia and Iran will threaten and oppress Egypt and Syria to keep the war up. Israel will offer to help feed and educate both Egypt and Syria. In addition, the large natural gas deposits in the Mediterranean will be used to provide enough electricity to power both countries and Israel. This will be the beginning of the fulfillment of prophesy where Israel expands to fill her scriptural borders. Many things will come from this. The enmity or all of the Islamic nations against Israel for compromising and corrupting Egypt and Syria will result in a war where Israel is the victor. People from all of the nations of the earth Zechariah 8:23 “Thus said יהוה of hosts, ‘In those days ten men from all languages of the nations take hold, yea, they shall take hold of the edge of the garment of a man, a Yehudite, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that Elohim is with you.” Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Kitt
