Egypt had at one point THE most influential and dominant empire in THE WORLD. They did not try to seek acceptance or conformity from surrounding countries. They were the status quo, the game changers, the cultural influence that shaped the world. We constantly down play our culture because another culture doesnt understand, or WE DONT fit in with what THEY deem as right. Seeking acceptance and equality from still a very oppressive society. We continue to seek it because we lost that strong belief in our own cultural power so we feel the need to have validation or reassurance. THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER is some people, some classes, some cultures are NOT going to like US. BE AWARE OF THAT but do not become ignorant to it. Instead, BECOME BETTER THAN THE HATE AND CONTINUE TO BELIEVE AND PUSH OUR CULTURE, CONTINUE TO BE PROUD TO BE BLACK. BECAUSE THOSE THAT SOMETIMES HAVE THE HARDEST JOURNEYS, HAVE THE BEST REWARDS. . . that is all.
