Eight five percent of our immune system is located in the gut. Your gut, or your digestive wall, is the biggest and the most important immune organ in your body. You have special markers in your gut called T1 and T2. At birth and depending on what kind of bacteria you have in your gut, will determine many things such as, auto immune disease, allergies and so on. If you have the right gut flora these will work properly and you will have no adverse symptoms when exposed to these types of environmental influences. However it you do not have the proper gut flora your T2 marker will try to over compensate and then food allergies, asthma and other auto immune diseases will develop. All diseases begin in the gut. ~ Hippocrates.
