The original mine went under water during flooding some years ago, but there are other mines in the same area that mine this stone, so you may obtain stone from these mines. It is also possible to get similar stone from Peru, but it may be sold as Azurite-Malachite-Chrysocolla, and may not have the full range of minerals included in it that the genuine Eilat stone contains. It is the national stone of Israel, and is well known as the stone of King Solomon. I was surprised at how strongly it affected me from the moment I brought a piece to live with me.
