Eish! Some of the FB posts I see really get me down sometimes... I am always taken aback by how some people very casually play fast and loose with other peoples reputations that took them years to build, sometimes manufacturing facts right out of thin air and other times spicing up the truth with semantic decorations to deliberately distort the meaning. Why why why do we do this? Others may have rationales I am ignorant about, but for those of us who profess to be Christian in particular, what does James 1:26 mean then in the face of the perverseness of our tongues??? Need a reminder of what it says? Here: If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this persons religion is worthless. We are called to love. In fact, the Bible, more accurately, states that we are COMMANDED to love one another. Its not optional. Its not a suggestion. Its a commandment! People who profess love should not lie out of the same mouth!!! If we do not obey His commands, how can we be called His children??? Ag, nie mannnn!!! Dont forget the way, the TRUTH and the life...
