Election Day is coming up and control of the House and Senate are at stake. Bear in mind that we have just witnessed an attempt to overturn the ‘Citizens United’ Supreme Court decision which makes possible the pouring of billions of dollars from corporate interests to sway our elections (America; up for sale to the highest bidder) – and every single Republican voted AGAINST repealing this decision. These politicians depend upon that corporate money to get elected, you know. What this means is that every vote for a Republican is a vote to continue allowing the corporations to buy their share of the government of the United States. The men/women who voted to keep it just the way it is, are bought and paid for and this vote shows that they are working FOR the corporate interests rather than seeking to protect our democracy or its people. They can say whatever they like about their reasons; but a tree is known by the fruit it produces. days.to/election-day-in-us/2014
