Elizabeth River District Needs a Volunteer: The Imagine No Malaria initiative of the denomination was adopted by the VA Annual Conference in June. The goal is to save 100,000+ lives. It is very exciting to be part of a mission that is so life changing for so many people! As the initiative continues to grow, we are encouraged to have a volunteer on each district that would serve as a point person to the churches on their district. This position would be a volunteer who has the gifts of organization and encouragement/nurturing. They would work with the conference closely. There would be a group training for all of the volunteers. The conference would like to have them in place by the end of August so we can get a training scheduled in September.
