Email sent to Council Hi, have just read this email. This is directed at a Jason Beever, who has not the ability to get our surname correct and to the complaint department. Am unsure how qualified you are,or how much you are paid to be ignorant, obtuse and very very thick. But we now demand our day in court. Our ref number 304907051 This behaviour is not acceptable, as I have mental health issues,a full time carer and my wife is severely disabled, we are paying our Council Tax,except your are not getting payment when you demand it. I am unsure of whether this is deliberate ,but this is now being forwarded to all parties including Cornwall Mental health team,ie, my Forensic psychologist and Local papers, as we are paying and you are still accepting payments on the days when our payments are received. We have no control over DWP payments, therefore paying when you demand is not only impossible, but we would refuse to be intimidated by a not to bright system or those that oversee it. Please find attached Law, (Wednesbury),please take us to court, not only will we demand costs, but compensation for clear disregard for Disability Discrimination, which you as a public servant are enforcing and including your attendance at court, to why you individually and the Council, believe they are above the Law and can stick two fingers up to the Courts and our justice system. Thanks Not wishing you a pleasant day Tony Lea. From: Labour Against the Bedroom Tax To: Ant Lea Sent: Thursday, 20 November 2014, 22:21 Dear Tony This is the reply that I have had from Jason I think the best thing you can do is to ignore these letters as they will simply keep coming. The fact that you do make your payments means it will never get to a summons, I know it is hard not to worry about it but from what Mr Beever says below, I don’t think there is any alternative to the system you now have. Best wishes, Louise From: Beever Jason Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2014 7:54 AM To: Labour Against the Bedroom Tax Hi Louise Thanks for your email. I can confirm that Mr & Mrs Lea have been paying late on each monthly instalments and that is why they have received a Final Notice. Unfortunately, as previously advised to Mr & Mrs Rea, that we cannot set up an arrangement until they receive a Summons letter. This is the same for everybody. The only way they could avoid the Reminder/Final letters is by paying the monthly instalments before the due date, ie paying Aprils instalment in March. Many thanks.
