Emotional moments tonight so Joe, Zadria and i went to Walmart in lakeworth we went in thru the side door. Sitting right inside that door was a young woman who was a burn victim with a baby wrapped in a blanket. Her and i made eye contact as i am walking in we get to where the baskets are and i tell joe we have to ask the young woman if she was ok? And if she needed anything? She said she had lost her hotel room due to non payment. I asked her was she hungry she said no that her and the baby ate earlier. She said that she called her dad but he said he couldnt help her until Tuesday. I said ok well let me go into the store and see what we can come up with. So Joe and I are shopping and we discussed what can we do for her? I say to joe we dont have the best home but it is better than sitting at Walmart right in the cold door. So he says ok. We checkout and we tell the young woman she can go home with us. Joe assured her that we were safe but we wanted to help. Well she turned us down she said she was hoping something would come through.?? Then joe ask her can we pray for her she allowed that. I told the young woman that I will be back tomorrow after my class and if she is still there the offer still stands. She smiled and said ok. i left there crying because even though I have had my struggles my kids have always had a place to live and food to eat. I think sometimes we all as humans need to stop being so selfish. I mean look i was in Walmart and there was a couple arguing over what gifts to get their kids. I am praying for that woman to have piece of mind and things work out for her and her baby.
