Emotionally and physically exhausted. Its been a long 48 hours.... At some point Justin or myself will put together a Caring Bridge post, but at this point we are just too fried to do it. Here is a general overview of what we found out today: The left side of Justins brain, where there was one a very large tumor, now has multiple, different sized tumors all along where the large tumor was, but also in other different areas and layers of the brain. Since there are many and in different parts, removing them is not an option at this point. We know that chemo doesnt effect the brain very well, so that isnt an option either. So that leaves us with radiation. We are to meet with a radiation oncologist this week or next after our Mayo oncologist talks with Dr. B at Mn oncology. We will know more soon hopefully, but radiation is what is next. On the plus side, the cancer seems to still be isolated in his brain at the moment- which we were told is a good thing given the circumstances.... 😒 Sorry I cant report a miracle, but we know God is still on our side.
