Employers admit theyre not offering adequate pay...are not - TopicsExpress

Employers admit theyre not offering adequate pay...are not training workers and have passed training expense to the taxpayers. (one more time): There is NO SKILLS GAP. Employers want workers with skills that dont exist without work experience...(duh) [what they want is robots that can anticipate their needs because even they dont know what they are according to some employer responses]. Stop blaming the (short & long term) unemployed (and stop paying for every ounce of training these businesses - who discriminate blatantly against a lot of job seekers - claim they need). The taxpayer shouldnt pick up this expense when there is no commitment and no investment on the part of businesses. washingtonpost/blogs/on-leadership/wp/2014/09/05/what-employers-really-want-workers-they-dont-have-to-train/
