Employment Opportunity Empire State Division The following Employment opportunity is available: Part-Time Soup Kitchen Coodinator Herkimer Corps The Herkimer Area Salvation Army Office has an immediate employment opportunity for a Soup Kitchen Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible for managing the Soup Kitchen operations to include: menu planning; meal preparation; recording of daily statistics; inventory; and supervision of volunteer support staff. Position requires ability to train, monitor and enforce guidelines and regulations through the CNY Food Bank and County Health department. Successful applicant will possess a minimum of a High School diploma or GED with one year of experience in food service, Institutional food service and previous supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds and climb stairs. This is a part-time position at 12 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Hourly rate is $8.00 per hour.
