Epic fail :( I tried making the zucchini slice yesterday. The only thing I changed in the recipe was instead of bacon I used grated carrot. After 4 hours it was still extremely sloppy & no better after 6 hours. Ended up ordering pizza as it was getting way to late for tea. I gave up after 8 hours & took it out. It still wasnt anywhere near done. I contemplated putting it in the oven this morning, then considered giving it to the dog but ended up binning it. I will try the recipe again but may omit the vegetable oil as I never add oil when I make quiche or that kind of thing. Back to soup today as that seems fool proof :/
